This year's picnic was a huge success! There were well over 100 people in attendance, enjoying
the sunshine and the company of friends. Food, food and more food - all delicious, as everyone
brought a dish to share. The three candidates running for Mayor of Hendersonville attended and
spoke to the crowd, as did Heath Shuler, our representative in Washington, home for break. He
spoke to the crowd and then stayed to talk personally to anyone who wished to speak to him.
Thanks to all our volunteers who set up, cleaned up and worked in between the two! See you all
next year - be sure to attend for fun and frolic!
